We took Qiaoyi to the Bookfest @ Malaysia 2009 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on Sunday afternoon despite the fear of A(H1N1) outbreak.
We have read a lot about the bookfest in newspaper and thought it might be a good idea to take her there to catch up with some of her favourite books since the school holiday is coming to an end. So, we bought Qiaoyi some of her favourite colouring book and a comic book which is well known to most Chinese primary school students, ie " Ge Mei Lia " ( 哥妹俩 ）!
The best part was, she managed to get the author of the comic book to sign on the book she bought and took a picture with him as a rememberance...how sweet !
