Happy Birthday, Qiaoyi !

Happy birthday to you, Qiaoyi......

Today is Qiaoyi's 7th years old birthday. She wanted a Minnie Mouse picture cake, so this is the cake we bought for her with many fruits topping

This morning when she woke up, she told me that she didn't really feel like celebrating her birthday because this would mean that she has to throw away her milk bottle and she would cry..that's what she said. I was speechless this morning !

I told her it was alright if she still want to keep the milk bottle for few days as I know that it would be hard initially, so take it easy. So she smiled..

By evening I went over to the cake shop to collect the cake, and she hesitated if she still want to blow her cake. Qiaoyi told me that she preferred the milk bottle than the birthday, she doesn't want any birthday, she just wanted to stay that way....! I told my little girl that every kid needs to grow up, there is no way she could just stay that way. Growing up is part of the life and she should learn to face it confidently.

After much persuasion and reasoning with her, she finally agreed to the birthday celebration and happily blowed the candles light away !
